Dear Friends,

ASI Mid-America 2019Just this past week, volunteers Elgin & Gail Jenkins represented The Hope of Survivors at the Mid-America Union ASI Convention. Here’s a brief update Elgin shared with me:

Gail and I attended the ASI Mid-America Convention in Northglenn, CO, this past weekend. God turned the event into a blessing despite the evil one attacking my dear wife’s physical health, which caused us to visit the ER about 10:00pm Saturday evening. Earlier that evening, I was interviewed during the ASI evening program by Karen Phillips, ASI Mid-America’s Vice President of Communications. My dear wife was not able to join me for the interview due to a severe skin rash on over 50% of her body and the loss of her voice. After the interview and during the rest of the convention, several individuals approached me and/or visited the THOS’ booth and expressed their thankfulness for THOS’ ministry. I heard several very sad stories from these individuals about family members and friends who have been abused by clergy and are dealing with the results of the abuse. Many were so blessed by knowing that THOS is there to help bring healing to their loved ones through the materials and ministry that THOS offers. One individual, who didn’t know about THOS ministry, wants the resources that THOS offers to be available at an upcoming women’s ministry event and would like a speaker to share at the event. The individual was given the necessary information to facilitate her requests. Please continue to pray for THOS ministry and please give generously to support this very needed ministry in these final days of Earth’s history. There are many dear saints who have been abused and are hurting who need to know of God’s great love for them and His desire to bring complete healing. THOS is being used by God to bring healing to these broken hearts. Please become part of the healing process by your much-needed prayers and financial support. God bless you.

I’m so glad Elgin and Gail were there to represent The Hope of Survivors. And, I am happy to report that Gail’s health is improving each day!

We still have the opportunity to exhibit at quite a few other events in 2019-2020, some of which require payment now to reserve the exhibit space. Exhibits are so important, as you can see by Elgin’s testimony above. Here are some of the events:

Pathfinder Camporee (approx. 50,000 youth) – $480*
AACC World Conference (approx. 7,000 attendees) – $2,000*
Hope & Healing Victim’s Conference (in TN) – $2,500
General Conference – United Methodist Church – $1,250
General Conference – Seventh-day Adventists – $2,500
And a few others!

*Note: Exhibit space fee has been paid, but funds are needed to cover volunteer travel expenses (airfare, lodging, meals, etc.).

We are planning to hold our annual Hope & Healing conference for victims in Nashville at the end of the AACC convention (more details to come). If you can help, the above are the needs just for the booth space cost, not including travel expenses for volunteers to staff the booth, which adds up to thousands of dollars more per event. Thank you so much! You may donate online, or mail a check to:
