Caroline Winship

Caroline is a mother / step-mother of 5 children (2 girls and 3 boys) and considers it her calling to help encourage others through their pain of abuse and trauma.

Married to the love of her life Jason, she felt an even stronger calling to service after her family lived through the horror of adult abuse by clergy.

It is through the support she received from The Hope of Survivors that she was able to understand the rights, services and emotional and spiritual journeys of CSA survivors. It is now one of her life goals to help peel back the dark veil while shaking off the taboo of speaking about abuse by clergy.

Her dream is that other victims and churches will have the opportunity to receive the help that saved her life, her marriage and her faith in an all-knowing, merciful and loving God.

As an experienced speaker, singer, researcher and advocate in other areas of her life including autism, homeschooling, PTSD and non-epileptic seizure disorders, it is with great excitement that she joins THOS team as Victim Support Representative.

Genesis 50:20
